Garsheck
The province of Garshek is considered a colony of Honbira. At one time, the two countries were connected via a landbridge, but tectonic energy separated them. It is a largely underexplored country, with most of its value pertaining to the vast amount of historical artifacts and tech found there. Many archeological digs are sourced in Garshek, and the country has many holy cities. It is considered one of the most holy countries on the planet, with many cultures considering locations in Garshek sacred. Despite this, it lacks many native peoples. Outside of the Kor, most residents are either pilgrims, or descended from such.
The Mistlands have been called many things, the throat of the world, the fog of ages, the primordial forest. Although little consensus has been made, one thing has been agreed. The Mistlands are old. Older than some planes. Old enough to have seen the rise and fall of civilizations the Dragons of Draconia would struggle to recall.

Cultural Values
Insectioid Social Structure
Although larger govermental structures do not exist in Garsheck, organized sociceties can still be found, primarially within the Thri-Kreen settlements. Each settlement consists of a single matriarch and hundereds of drone, warrior, and caretaker Thri-kreen. Together they farm and protect the land against invaders and monsters.
Ocassionally, Non-Thri-Kreen are welcomed into the cultures, however they may find themselves strugging with the unconvential social structure of the Thri-Kreen.
The Chrysalis of Civilization
What happens to the cuccoon after the butterfly has emerged? Garsheck is the origin of civilization, of culture, of music, and all else that separates man from beast. But now, it is empty, the dry husk of a once blooming land. The remenants that remain are scattered, scarcely interacting between eachother.
A villager from one settlement in garsheck may never know of another one over the next ridge. The Thri-kreen drone may collect stones from a mighty crater, not knowing that it once was a vast arc.
Despite the relative isolation of the land, it is still considered sacred. All cultures, to the Dragonborn of the north, to the Gnomes of Taragai can trace their culture here. It sits, carved into stone and faded with time, waiting for its people to return.
Neutrality
With very little governmental structure, Garsheck holds claim over the most peaceful inter-country politics. They tend to stay out of wars and other international discussions. In turn Garsheck holds relatively little resources, and boasts a population of combat-adept Thri-kreen. Initiating conflict with Garsheck is viewed as a risky and unessecary endevor.

Cultural Notes
Please note: these are only the most notable opinions held within the culture. If a species isn't mentioned here, assume they take the view in the species' description page
Kenku
All Kenku, even those who live abroad, have their origins in the silent city. They are as rooted there as the stone. Wordlessly they tend to the temples, repair the walls, and initiate rights.
Modern academic theory Hypothesize that kenku were the original assistants of the song of creation. As the song faded, and the city grew silent, so did its caretakers. The titular "kenku curse" has been placed on them to help maintain the song's secrecy.
Kenku in Garsheck are respected, if not considered mysterious. As they have no words of their own, they can only communicate in the echoes of others. It is rare for a Kenku to leave the mountain tops, but when they do, their travel is marked in city ledgers, and children stare from behind their mother's backs, for a myth must now be in the making.
Folk of the Air: Air Genasi, Aarakokra
The obscured peaks of the mountains of the mistland hide a secret: cracks to the plane of air. Behind gusts of wind and through the clouds come walkers from another world. Rarely interacting with the mortals of the material plane here, the folk of the air are one of the many obstacles a pilgrim might face on their way to the silent city.
Thri-Kreen
Most humanoids will find the Thri-Kreen unsettling. They do not speak, do not emote. Their telepathic language scratches agaisnt the inside of travelers' minds, with rough-hewn concepts like "predator" and "prey." Indeed, they feel like the first draft of something. And that is what they are. Here, at the edge of the world, lies the first documented civilization.
Kor
While Kor are everywhere, there are quite a few in Garsheck. Most Kor can trace their origins to this region. The Kor language and culture is as it is for this reason- lights to iluminate their location in the murk, a silent language to speak even where words do not reach.
Adventuring
Garsheck's adventurer's guild branch only makes up part of the adventuring industry. Mostly, guild members are highered to assist archeologists with digs, clear out hostile territory for expeditions, and protect caravans.
The more unique form of adventuring lies within those who hold a connection to the religious origins here. In Garsheck there are many challenges for a wandering devotee to sharpen their faith against. Perhaps your adventurer wishes to unearth a forgotten relic from their paladin order, or to uncover the truth about a mysterious and elusive diety.
